Nicolas Cage has signed a contract to play in “Drive Angry”, a film that will be done in 3D format.
Nicolas Cage will perform the role of a vengeful father who will launch in a bloody car tracking with those who killed his daughter and have kidnapped it baby.
In other words, Nic Cage will be a vengeful grandfather in the new film from director Patrick Lussier, responsible for My Bloody Valentine 3D.
Expectations are high for this film that should astound us with breakneck speeds. Lussier wrote the screenplay along with Todd Farmer (My Bloody Valentine 3D), and producers are New Image / Millennium Films.
“Drive Angry” will begin production in April in Louisiana, he can still be watched in the movie “Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans” directed by Werner Herzog. Filming is scheduled for April 2010.
