Jake Gyllenhaal and Anne Hathaway - together again
Jake Gyllenhaal and Anne Hathaway, who played together in the film Brokeback Mountain, are in negotiations to appear in the movie Love and Other Drugs, produced by Fox 2000/New Regency, according to Hollywood Reporter.
Film will be directed by Ed Zwickau and the scenario will be written by Charles Randolph (The Interpreter).
The movie is based on Jamie Reidy’s book, “Hard Sell: The Evolution of a Viagra Salesman”.
Reidy handled in the sales of pharmaceutical industry and, then, has written memoirs.
The main character, which will be interpreted by Gyllenhaal, falls in love with a woman suffering from Parkinsons (Hathaway).
Their love story takes place in social and political context of those times. The shootings are scheduled to begin in the fall.
