chronicles of narnia The next project “Chronicles of Narnia” will be filming in AustraliaIt seems that one of the films with the biggest budget ever – “The Chronicles of Narnia: Voyage of the Dawn Treader” - will be filming during 2009, in Queensland - Australia, and will be released in cinemas on the North American on 10 December 2010.

Australian Premier Anna Bligh said in front of members of Parliament that the locations chosen by the producers for shooting are cities Brisbane and Gold Coast in federal state Queensland, but are making negotiations with officials from other cities of the country, is showing that over 2000 people in the area will benefit from temporary jobs due to this film, which could be producing the most consistent budget ever made in Queensland.

Anna Bligh said that production for film mark Walden Media / 20th Century Fox will create jobs of figures, makers, drivers, designers and builders of the plateau settings and some scenes will be filmed in Cleveland Point and Doug Jennings Park.

The Australian Prime Minister confessed that the country has led a fierce battle with New Zealand to obtain the right to host the staff of this film, having finally won because of infrastructure, location and superior services that it offered.

“The Chronicles of Narnia: Voyage of the Dawn Treader”; will be directed by Michael Apted (Nell, Extreme Measures; Amazing Grace), based on a scenario developed by Christopher Markus and it subject will focus on the third book of fantasy “The Chronicles of Narnia” in a series of seven books written by author C.S. Lewis.
